In short: we only need your email, to tell you when we open. We don’t sell it or use it for anything else.
Who handles your data
OnPause, the project behind onpause.me. For any question, write to ciao@onpause.me.
What data
Your email. Then the page language, which form you used and the date. Nothing else.
Why
To write to you when Pause opens. Until then, only the confirmation email. No advertising, no sharing with third parties.
On what basis
Your consent, given when you leave your email. You can withdraw it whenever you like.
For how long
Until launch and for twelve months after. Then we delete it, unless you become a user. If you ask, we delete it straight away.
Who helps us
Four providers, only to run the service. Supabase stores the sign-ups. Resend sends the emails, from servers in Ireland. Vercel hosts the site. Umami counts visits anonymously. Some are based in the United States: transfers are covered by the EU standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and statistics
Just one cookie, technical: it remembers the language you choose. We count visits and actions on the site with Umami, without cookies and without knowing who you are. No profiling.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data. You can also object, or ask for a copy. Just write to ciao@onpause.me. If you think we’re getting it wrong, you can complain to your data protection authority.
